Maddie and Logan are best friends. What makes their relationship so different from
other people is who Logan’s father is; the president of the United States. And Maddie’s
dad is head of the President’s Secret Service entourage. 
One day, Maddie’s dad takes her to a cabin in the middle of nowhere in Alaska. Six
years pass, living in the woods with her father and Logan shows up at Maddie’s front
door.
Maddie hasn’t seen Logan in six years, and she quickly realizes she is still mad at him.
He hasn’t written to her since she moved. But before she can express her anger,
someone appears and kidnaps both Maddie and Logan. Now they must learn to survive
in the bitter cold, and devise a plan to escape the bad man.  Maddie is pushed off a cliff,
while Logan continues on with the kidnapper. She somehow survives and figures out
how to carry on. Maddie must figure out how to rescue Logan while still survive in the
harsh Alaskan winter.
For fans of Not If I Save You First, I recommend reading I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have To Kill You, also by Ally Carter.

Infographics: Information in Picture Form

   Just as the title suggests, infographics are simply images with statics and numbers thrown in. It is generally something that someone can read by just glancing at. Infographics are a good way of informing the public or getting your point across about a certain topic. When creating your own infographic , there are many programs available online to help. For the purpose of this post, I will be comparing three different websites; Easelly , Piktochart , and Infogram , to see which (in my opinion) is easiest and most user friendly with creating an infographic .    All three programs that I played around with to create an inforgraphic required me to create an account. As such, I don't anticipate much Spam mail coming from these sites, however that is a subject for another day. Let's see how each one of these programs stacked up. Plot Summary Jayna is an orphan and has only her older brother Rob to rely on. Rob has been called to the war in the Pacific, and Jayna is left with only her landlady, Celine. Jayna decides to go to New York and try to find any possible family. After finding a French cookbook with a photograph of a bakery among Rob’s things, Jayna goes in search of the Gingersnap bakery. Once there, she finds much more than she could have imagined.
