Lewin, Betsy. Good Night, Knight. Holiday House, 2015. ISBN 9780823433155

  1. Plot Summary

A story of a knight and his horse’s quest to find the golden cookies. Several attempts
to look for these cookies lead the pair on a successful quest only to awake and wish for
golden apples.

  1. Critical Analysis
Great use of puns ie. knight vs night. I also enjoyed the onomatopoeia used throughout.
A fun little read that I could personally relate to quite a bit. I, too enjoy eating golden
cookies, going on quests, and sleeping. The simplistic illustrations lead to a better
understanding of the story for early readers.
